Annual Assessment of PhD Students

All students are required each year to submit a report on their research work to date. The report should be submitted online via the single sign on page of the University link below (this will require you to use your UoB username and password). The student is then interviewed by his/her Convener and Panel Member who write a short report online. This is then passed on to the student's supervisor for comments he/she may like to add and then back to the student for any other comments. In the first and second year of the PhD study the student is also required to complete a skills training questionnaire - this is now part of the online system - see the link below this is a requirement of the University and failure to provide a satisfactory report or interview can result in at risk procedures being undertaken and a loss of stipend payments.
