Outreach Opportunites

Any postgraduate wishing to undertake outreach work should contact our Schools Liaison Officer, we are always on the lookout for students keen to take on school visits and give talks to local schools. You might like to train to do our popular “Physics of ice-cream talk” either to primary or secondary schools or develop a talk based on your own research. Please ask for advice if you need it.

We have a fairly steady stream of requests for talks throughout the year and usually plenty of requests for science week.

The IoP also offers many outreach opportunities including Physics Busking. Contact Alison Rivett.

The STEM Ambassadors Programme is run by the School of Chemistry and more information can be found on thier web pages.
