Centre for Quantum Photonics

starburstOverview

The Centre for Quantum Photonics was established to develop future quantum technologies and explore fundamental science using photons.

It spans the School of Physics and Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the Faculties of Science and Engineering, and the Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information.

We are funded by EPSRC, the European Research Council, the Royal Society, the Leverhulme Trust, the EU (through Q-ESSENCE, QUANTIP, PHORBITECH and DIAMANT), the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

Please see publications, research, and funding for more details about our research activities.
