If you're looking for the website that was here before, don't panic, it's here! The Particle Adventure is a really excellent, in-depth particle physics introduction.

Other Physics
The Science Museum has a pretty good website with loads of different sections on different aspects of science.
Scope is an Irish website made to accompany a television programme. It has explanations of the science behind interesting things, for example the X games, the world DJ championships and the Le Mans race series.
