(Where it all began)

I was doing some thinking today, but I didn't like it very much, so I decided to write this introduction.

This web site has been (or at least will be) put together by students on work experience from all over the country. Well perhaps not from all over the country. I doubt students are come all the way to Bristol from Lands End, just to do a web site (as riveting an experience as it is!) Well, I suppose they might do... Anyway, on this web site you will find a multitudinous amount of simply splendiferous explanations of the theoretical, hypothetical and Quantum Chromo dynamical. (In layman's terms: cool stuff found within.)

But anyway, enough of my unintelligible conversational mumblings (Layman's terms: enough of me talking nonsense), on with my brief intro. This web site provides most of the basics you would need to know in order to become a Particle Physicist (yes, really, some people do want to become particle physicists).

Or, you could learn about all the groovy people down at the Particle Physics department or if you want to find out what they do all day (yeah, like we all work round here!)

Or, if you would simply like to know the answers to all the questions that have ever baffled your mind (as long as they are to do with Particle Physics) then click here to have a quick overview of the Physics behind the, er, Physics....

P.S. If you become a little confused, I've set up a glossary with some of the terms used in this site explained. Don't say I'm not good to you...
