It's never too early to start!
Physicists from the group have visited nurseries and pre-schools in the region to help explain the science topics that the children are looking at.

The light badges have proved a huge hit with all ages!
A visit from a local physicist demonstrating the three phases of matter; solid, liquid and gas, resulted in ice-cream for everyone!

Speakers from the Physics Department at the University of Bristol are able to visit schools and colleges and give a variety of talks. Follow the link to see what talks are available, the intended age of the audience and the parts of the syllabus they address.
If there is not a talk listed on the topic you are interested in, do still contact us, as it is quite possible that if we can't provide one ourselves, that we know someone who can.
