As a humble theorist I much admire (and envy) my experimental colleagues. After many failures, involving many fluid samples, I did suceed in levitating a hard platelet. It is likely that capillary rather then critical Casimir forces are involved. However it is clear more experiments are necessary to obtain a full understanding of the nature of the attractive interaction. Click.
